She had it where?

You know those stories you hear about people not knowing they are pregnant and then giving birth in some random place . . .
Well.
I now know someone who gave birth to a five pound twelve ounce girl on her bathroom floor.
Flushed the "mess".
Wrapped the baby in a blanket and went to sleep in her bed.
She is sixteen.
That girl is strong.
Here I am afraid to get pregnant because of the pain that goes along with childbirth.
And she did it. No drugs. Nothing. BY HERSELF!
I can only imagine how scared she must have been.

I don't know if strong is the word. Having a baby without any medical supervision whatsoever and then just going to sleep?

Crazy maybe..negligent for sure.

I'm surprised the baby lived. I can't beleive that she couldn't tell anyone. I've heard of stories like that also. I would have never been able to do that. I've had two kids. The first Naturally and the second with the epidural. Let me just tell you, the epidural is like a gift from God. Noone should ever have to do that without pain killers.

Uhh....Okay. I'll give her credit for giving birth without any medication, I'm ALSO afraid of pregnancy becuase of the pain....to go through it naturally scares the shit out of me.

Now...for her not being able to tell anyone, and having it on the floor. Thats so sad, if you're that afraid to tell people in your life that you're pregnant. There are options. Lots of them...Do you know if the baby survived? 5 pounds is little....

That girl isn't strong, she's stupid. Good luck with yours though. You might want to try the traditional hospital delivery.
