Damn you fashion!!

I am wearing some really really cute shoes today.
And the fuckers hurt.
Now I remember why I haven't worn these shoes in a year.
The tops of my feet are crying. I can hear them.

Oh, the price I pay to feel better about myself.

Also, thank you for the words of encouragement and love (you know who you are) this past week. I'm a lucky ladie to have you all in my life.

no see...being a bloke, i get to wear normal shoes all the time.
and you shouldn't compromise comfort for fashion
see me, i've got DC trainers on today, and if it wasn't them i'd be wearing acupuncture trainers... i rarely wear shoes because my feet are a bit odd...very high instep, odd toes, wide feet...just plain dodgy

I go thru same when I am at a client meeting and wearing my formal shoes. They look great but they hurt real bad. If I am flying, it’s a major pain to walk around in them at the airport. I do change into sneakers but sometimes there is not much opportunity to make the change.

Wow! I guess I missed alot while I was gone. Your post from Friday was angry and now your shoes are uncomfortable. Someone start a Berly Telethon quick!

Yaay pretty shoes. I am a total shoe-o-holic. And it used to be that I would sacrifize comfort for looks. That is no more...mostly because I am on my feet 4 hours when I teach and I cannot think straight and lecture if my feet are crying out for sweet mercy.

So I still have a few of the cute but not that comfy pairs which I will wear out to dinner and when I know there will not be much walking involved.

But when I shoe shop now, I go for pretty but comfy.
