Shooting Stars

Ok. I'm 25. And I have NEVER seen a shooting star.
Until now.
I was walking yesterday morning (seriously, I am so fat right now and have to do something, don't say anything, I am, I have lost the same 10 pounds four times!!) and I saw a shooting star as I rounded the corner at my halfway point.
Then this morning, I saw another one as soon as I got out of my parking lot!
That's a good sign right?

Girl..that 10 lbs I lost right before the reunion has come back on. So I feel ya. I'm getting disgusted and must do soemthing ASAP.

As for the shooting star...seeing not only 1 but 2 is a great sign. Maybe a sign of good things to come since you've been feeling so down lately.

Did you make a wish??? When you wish upon a star, Berle, your dreams just might come true :)
Awesome that you saw two - I think I've maybe seen four in my entire life...

I am shocked. Not only have you never seen shooting star in 25 yrs, but you are the only person I know of that actually has the will power and motivation to get up and exercise in the a.m. before work. (excluding Co in college with the crazy 5 a.m. aerobics at the rec on Friday, girl you so crazy!)

Way to go Berly, you're my hero!

At least you can keep losing it. I am having the hardest time getting rid of the baby weight that I had 3 months ago. I can't wait until I can afford plastic surgury. You need to go out into the country to see more of those. You'll have a hight percentage of seeing them.

I never saw them regularly until I moved away from Philly... I saw them from time to time camping as a kid... But nothing beats a West Virginia night sky to see them... I see them all the time now.

And I still think they're beautiful!

Supposedly a good sign berly. I saw one when I first went to DC. I was driving somewhere and I saw this shooting star. I just prayed and made wishes etc.

Things went terrible for the next 2 years after that.

My dad once found a horse shoe. Thats lucky right? He kept it forever. It did bring him luck.

I have to agree with Kat Woman there also, you look great... And she shouldn't be so hard on her self either... She's the most beautiful woman in WV and doesn't know it...

The shooting stars are only good if you wished on them. They're really bad if they hit you. If you've never seen one until this wek then you spent too much time looking down as a kid. Look up, you'll have better posture!
